  • Responsible for the day-to-day administration of pension scheme, making sure that new and existing customers' policies are accurately maintained and serviced.
  • Serves as the main point of contact for pension cases.
  • Oversees the investment process of the pension cases onto the chosen investment provider. Setting up onshore and offshore investment.
  • Makes and checks necessary calculations for an investment.
  • Deals with policy documents, encashment, withdrawals, partial and full surrender of an investment.
  • Calculates income, tax free cash (lump sum), and fees based on given GAD and tax rates.
  • Receives and answers inquiries from clients and financial advisers through telephone and e-mail.
  • Processes transfers out of pension cases onto other pension scheme.
  • Preparing transfers discharge form to the ceding schemes.
  • Transfer chasing.
  • I am regularly updating records to reflect retirements, death, divorces and changes in beneficiaries requested by the clients.
  • Send out monthly statements to keep our client apprised of the status of their pension funds.
  • To have a pleasant helpful telephone and written manner.
  • To deal with other general work as requested by the Supervisors Managers or the Directors.
  • Monitoring workflow to ensure all work is processed within timescales set by the managers/ supervisors.
  • Compiling & update lists of reports (daily, weekly & annually).
